We visited a fabulous WPA mural, checked out not one  but two restaurants in two amazing small towns, and got busy in the kitchen with an old family favorite–and a new family favorite (chocolate cookie dough cookie cups, anyone?). This also marked the second week of the Little Indiana Radio Show that airs Thursday nights at 9 PM – 10 PM EST on Indiana Talks. This week’s show featured Joe Frost of Indiana Landmarks and John Updike of Old Fairfield. It was a pretty amazing show. You can listen to that live right here on Indiana Talks.

If you think this week was fun, just wait until next week–it’s the release of the SPRING Little Indiana Quarterly Magazine. Are you as excited about it as I am? It will be available in print or digital versions.

PressReader News App Review: All News, All the Time! — When I’m traveling around small towns (and it’s not my turn to drive), PressReader will definitely come in handy! This is the largest digital newspaper kiosk app for Android to Apple to Blackberry and Win7 Slate PC’s (to name a few).

Scottsburg, Indiana: Jeeves and Company Restaurant — Our lunch stop was a local favorite: Jeeves and Company in Scottsburg, Indiana. With a gift shop on one side and a stylin’ restaurant on the other, it’s no wonder that this restaurant is so popular.

Community Builders: Dinner is Done — There are all sorts of fun and neighborly events going on in an Indiana town near you. One of my favorites are church chicken dinners. Okay, any dinner. Beef and noodles, chicken and noodles, turkey, chili, soup…you name it, it’s out there.

Diggity Dog in Danville, Indiana — If you are looking for a different lunch option, Danville, Indiana now holds Diggity Dog, a hot dog diner.

New Deal WPA Works in Attica, Indiana — You can find more than stamps at your local, small town Post Office–you may find a Depression-era mural.
